PSP Events website gets facelift for Chicago event.

PSP Events has launched an new version of their website adding new features and bringing event videos and pictures more available . With Chicago event starting this Thursday and divisional teams starting their games first its going to be interesting to see if we will have even better coverage from on-site. Even when PSP couldn’t afford to produce web cast for Phoenix this year they put great effort to having game updates trough social media. Hopefully we can see some daily clips and gallery updates.

The 2010 PSP Phoenix Open starting today.

First PSP event for 2010 is starting today in Phoenix at Glendale Youth Sports Complex. Both Semi-Pro and Pro teams start their games on Friday with first game being Seattle CDR vs SK Moscow. SK Moscow is our Millennium Series champions for 2009 and they will for sure be one of the strongest teams in Semi-Pro. First match-up in Pro is Boston Red Legion vs VICIOUS witch is gonna be another interesting match-up. Vicious moved up from Semi-Pro to Pro for 2010 and they have to benchmark themselves against 2009 champions Russian Legion. Continue reading ‘The 2010 PSP Phoenix Open starting today.’ »

With the demise of 7-man format and NPPL struglin its hard to see any bright future for compeating formats. Nice to see that everyone has their dates up also. Hopefully we some day get here in Europe for Millennium Series even something as well working as PSP has with APPA Continue reading ‘PSP and RaceTo format team up with several US events and series.’ »

PSP goes back to ROF 12,5 for all divisions

PSP has released an announcement with the season 2010 ROF changes and the full schema of the entry fees and prize packages on all levels of play confirmed. PSP has tried hard to reduce the incentives for sandbagging in the lower divisions, and after a quick read, I think that the new entry fee / reward combination is definitely going to the right direction. No longer is your success in one division rewarded with the bump to higher entry fees with little or no chances for winning.
